Fairfield Preparatory School

Fairfield Preparatory School was founded in 1929 and has been part of the Loughborough Endowed Schools foundation since 1969. Fairfield Preparatory School is based at the Loughborough Endowed Schools campus on the south side of Loughborough, and shares the available facilities on site of the Music School and the swimming pool as well as having its own sports field.

Fairfield is a very happy, caring school, where children are nurtured and we strive to bring out the best in every child. Excellence is celebrated both inside and outside the classroom, but the opportunities, from Kindergarten to Year 6 are endless.

The school is co-educational and has some 500 pupils of which180 pupils are in the pre-preparatory department and 320 pupils are in the preparatory unit.

Fairfield Preparatory School enjoys an enviable academic reputation locally and nationally, but it is sport, music, dance and art that help to develop the ‘whole child’, giving them confidence to take part and enjoy success. More than 40 clubs and activities are available at lunchtime and after school, catering for a wide range of interests. The activities are inclusive with everyone taking part in House competitions and drama performances.
